YOUR HOLIDAY STORIES : St. Vincent

(I want to send my story.)

  Sweet,Sweet home of my birth
Hi to all my Vincy people, nice to know we haven't forgotton our home land. I was born in SVG but grew up in Trinidad, now I'm living in Canada. I went back a few times, and I'm missing there like crazy.

I'm trying to find a dear friend of mind Peggy Baptiste from Vermont, if anyone can help please contact me at  email   sucess_life@yahoo.com

My name is Sonia Neptune, born in Byera St.Vincent. I have family living in Sion Hill. A shout out to all Vincys all around the world who miss SVG. Thank God for the new airport so that more people can come to see a piece of God's paradise.

  where are they now...
I came to St Vincent in 1978 to work in the casino. I lived there for two years and loved every minute. We were made very welcome and made many friends incuding, Erica Macintosh, Ken Boyea, Tannis, Josh and many more.

I have never forgotton the kindness and friendliness of the Vincention people. I am coming back to visit on the 7th December for one day as a passenger on the P&O ship Ventura. I would love to see anyone who remembers the casino girls Linda and Rita.

  SWEET SVG U R D BEST PLACE 2 B
I can say that after eight years in Canada, you get to know more, and see more in the wider world. Life changes, things change, the life style is not the same, and you start to learn to adjust yourself to a different culture.

Life may be a little easier. Things may be cheaper, you may get a job a little faster, but the reality is - there is no place like St.Vincent & the Grenadines.

You are more happy, you eat better food, the air is cleaner, lovely beaches, fresh fruits, cleaner water to drink, less stress and no rent.

So don't be fooled about Canada and USA. It's not easy, life back home is paradise to out here. SVG you are the best, I can`t wait to reach back home, God spare my life.

Love you SVG miss you every day.
